Performance & Endurance In Just 30 Minutes
EXPERTS AGREE - THERE IS NO MORE EFFECTIVE GOLF INVESTMENT THAN THE ACCESS STRENGTH GOLF STRENGTH TRAINING PRESCRIPTION
A great or even good golf swing is an incredibly athletic maneuver that consists of a complex combination of flexibility, timing, and power. Without a giant commitment or overwhelming workout regimen, our ACCESS STRENGTH golf program delivers the power and flexibility needed to deliver timing & accuracy to your swing.
WHAT IS THE PRESCRIPTION?
It’s a combination of our scientifically designed and medically based specialized equipment combined with your highly trained ACCESS STRENGTH trainer who is committed to the equipment’s accurate use for Only 30 minutes, 1 to 2 times per week. Extra recovery time is a critical part of the ACCESS STRENGTH program and is imperative to success AND it allows more time for golf.
These machines operate at a level of friction and provide even resistance through the full range of movement and specifically and safely isolate the targeted muscle group. The machines have been validated by research published in over 75 peer-reviewed journals. However, guidance by a trainers specializing in the equipment’s accurate use is imperative for success.
The equipment is engineered to provide less resistance at the point where the muscles are the weakest - in the stretched position. This resistance, in the stretched position, is sufficient to stimulate strength increases but not too heavy to be unsafe. You’ll find yourself more limber and stronger, which, as a golfer, results in a more powerful swing, a higher level of endurance, and an added measure of protection from injury.
The top machines used in the ACCESS STRENGTH golf training program..
MedX® Core Torso Rotation is revolutionary in its ability to truly isolate waistline muscles. It’s the most effective design of its kind. Shoulder, arm and chest muscles are neutralized by a unique padded restraint system while a separate system of padded restraints effectively locks the pelvis and prevents the hip and gluteus muscles from assisting in rotation of the torso.
This piece of equipment increases strength and flexibility right at the core of the body. Not surprisingly, it's a favorite among golf pros looking to increase club head speed.
Nautilus 4-Way Neck is a bio-mechanically precise 4-way neck machine that trains the flexion and extension muscles of the neck to allow for improved range of motion. It both stretches and strengthens the cervical spinal muscles. This allows for decompression of the upper spine and promotes increased omni-directional strength and flexibility of the entire neck. The Core 4-Way Neck is based on bio-technology of a medical neck extension machine used in spinal rehabilitation facilities around the world.
MedX® Core Lumbar is the only core lumbar strength machine that features a patented and effective pelvic restraint system that keeps gluteus and hamstring muscles from interfering with the targeted spinal exercise area. This provides isolation of the lumbar spine muscles, increases stability and allows for specific, intensive strengthening in one of the body's most vital and vulnerable areas. Regular use of The Core Lumbar Strength may help prevent injuries, remedy chronic back pain, and contribute to disc hydration.
What golfers are saying

— Steve, 73
“I was already a pretty decent player. My wife bought an ACCESS STRENGTH golf training program package for me as a gift. My handicap went from a 12 to a 7. Best present ever.”
— Dave, 46
“Like all sports, you do not get in shape by playing golf; you get in shape to play golf, at least to play golf more safely and successfully.”

The ACCESS STRENGTH golf training difference…
Why our program works where others fail.
The concern: There are too many risks of injury in strength training.
The facts: Unlike our sessions, many strength training programs do have a high rate of injury. Most of these injuries are built into the use of the equipment. With weights, kettle bells, your body momentum… success requires you to make it more and more challenging by increasing the force required, the weight level, whatever -- which brings on aches, pains and injury. The ACCESS STRENGTH difference? Our sessions are custom designed to your needs and each session and every movement is overseen and managed by your trainer. Also, the medical designed equipment is designed for very slow and smooth movements that inhibits the opportunity for injury.
The concern: I’m already almost too busy to play golf. There’s just no time.
The facts: Our program demands a maximum of only 30 minutes, 1 to 2 times per week. This program’s techniques requires session supervision of our scientifically designed equipment by our highly skilled trainers. This provides maximum results with minimal time AND with our 7 days per week flexible scheduling, we make it easy for you to find the time.
The concern: Getting bulky and/or tight muscles gets in the way of smoothly coordinated golf actions.
The facts: The ACCESS STRENGTH golf training prescription is not designed to create bulk. Our machines allow your trainer to set and control variables within the exercise. With just a few pounds of muscle gain you’ll see improvement in your game. The truth is that stronger muscles will make you faster, not slower, in golf or in any sport. Our golf program will actually increase your flexibility. And – most importantly: Greater muscle strength will go a long way to help you prevent injuries.
The concern: Everyone I know who strength trains gains weight. I can’t afford to gain any weight because my Dr. says weight gain will increase my blood pressure.
The facts: Every ACCESS STRENGTH session is designed specifically for you. If you follow the program you won’t see a weight gain, but a replacement of fat for muscle. Studies show that this, in fact, lowers blood pressure. A Fitness for Golf study found that after just 8 sessions, 77 senior golfers added four pounds of muscle, lost four pounds of fat, reduced their resting blood pressure by four mm Hg, and increased their muscle strength by almost 60 percent. All of the program participants were injury free during the following season, even though their improved physical fitness enabled them to play considerably more golf.
The concern: I’m just not healthy enough for strength training. I’m afraid it will exacerbate my back pain, neck pain, arthritis, heart condition…
The facts: Not only is every ACCESS STRENGTH session designed specifically for you, but among the early days of perfecting our ACCESS STRENGTH training programs there was a standout trial to investigate the program’s effects on older women with osteoporosis - "These women were so weak we were afraid for their safety," They saw dramatic improvement. So dramatic it spurned multiple follow-up studies. After just 8 sessions the groups involved experienced a greater than 50% gain in strength and a 1% increase in bone density each month. Multiple research studies have also found our programs improves calorie burn and cardio-metabolic health, lowers cholesterol, increases bone mineral density, prevents muscle atrophy and age-related wasting of muscle known as sarcopenia, improves cognitive function, enhances self-esteem, and combats depression.
The concern: Exercise recovery pain takes time away from the game.
The facts: Our programs have been referred to as a “neat trick”. With other exercises, to make them more challenging, you usually have to increase the force required -- the weight level, whatever -- which brings on aches and pains. This also makes them more dangerous. With ACCESS STRENGTH, we make your exercise much more challenging without increasing force and we will track your progress so we can make sure you are improving during each and every exercise. Our equipment is engineered to provide less resistance at the point where the muscles are the weakest - in the stretched position. This resistance, in the stretched position, is sufficient to stimulate strength increases but not too heavy to be unsafe
